<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 90-13 3 <br />BY: Councilman Tallon <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR UP TO 5,000 TONS OF ASPHALT AND TACK <br />COATING OF CITY STREETS, AND AUIHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT <br />FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN IlMERGINCY. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TfiE CITY OF NOR'IIi OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized <br />to a vertise or bids of up to 5,000 tons of asphalt and tack coating of city <br />streets, according to specifications now on file in his office, and that upon <br />approval by the Board of Control, the Ma.yor is authorized to enter into a con- <br />tract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immeciately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare and for the further reason that it is innnediately necessary to provide <br />for the city's asphalt and tack coating requirements, and further provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : % 9 O <br />ATTEST: <br />'d <br />LO CE E.
