?. ??, ?.?..,._.. <br />L?*] <br />? <br />CITY OF IaDR'I'fi pINLS'TEp <br />ORDINANCE N0. 90-108 <br />By: Councilman Tallon <br />AN ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH WITHIN THE SPDCIAL RE'VENCJE <br />FCTNID GFCUP A"HOTEL/N1OM TAX FUM" OF THE CITY OF <br />NORPFI OIMSTID FOR MCEIPT OF HOTEL/MOIEL TAX MONIES <br />AND REIATED EXPENDITCTRES F'OR SAFEI'Y EQLTIPMEN'T', AND <br />DE(3,ARIATG AN IIMERGENK„y. <br />Whereas, Council approved Ordinance 90-67 being an ordinance <br />establishing a"Hotel and Nbtel Tax"; and <br />Whereas, the purpose of this tax is to provide revenue with which <br />to meet the needs of the City for use as Safety Department equipmelt. <br />N04V, THERg'ORE, BE IT ORDAIlVED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OINISTED, <br />00Llrfl'Y OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1: That there is hereby created a Hotel/Motel Tax Ftiuid <br />within the Special Revenue Funcl qroup to account for the City's hotel <br />and motel tax revenues and related expendi.tures for Safety Departinent <br />equignent. <br />Section 2: That the Director of Finance be and is hereby directed <br />to establish a Hotel/Nbtel Tax Fund and to record receipts and <br />expenditures consistant with this Ordinance. <br />Section 3: That the Clerk of Council shall i.mnediately forward an <br />attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Ctiyahoga County arid <br />the Auditor of the State of Ohio. <br />Section 4: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure imnediately necessary for the presexvation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare, and further provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-t,hirds of all meqnbers of Council it shall take <br />effect and be in force imnediately upon its passage and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br />PasSed: ? y i ?yo <br />Attest: <br />James D Boetmer, <br />President of Council <br />Contnittee : <br />Fi.rst Reading: y r? <br />Second Reading: <br />Third Reading: <br />ames A Burns, <br />Acting Clerk of Council
