Aft, <br />"Owe CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED _.Vw? <br />RESOLUTION N0. 90 - gg <br />BY: _Gouncilman McKay <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR AND ACCEPT BIDS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF SUNSET OVAL <br />PAVEMENT REPLACEMENT, PHASE I, FROM THE SUNSET OVAL INTERSECTION, <br />SOUTH APPROXIMATELY 500 FEET (INCLUDING THE INTERSECTION), AS DETAILED <br />IN THE SPECIEICATIONS ON FILE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT <br />FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is desirous of improving <br />the roadway and roadside drainage along Sunset Oval, and <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepared by the Engineering <br />Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Cauncil to authorize the Mayor to enter <br />into an agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COjINCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for the improvement of the Sunset Oval pavement <br />and roadside areas according to specifications now on file in his off ice and that, <br />upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter <br />into a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare and further, provided it receives the aff irmative vote of two-thirds <br />of all members elected to Council,.i,t shall take effect and be in force imme- <br />diately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PAS S ED : / Q9O <br />ATTEST: <br />?f?FS A (5c/2+J? ?Oc7tNG G(,6A?C oF COJn?, <br /> <br />ames D.
