Q d <br />A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE NECESSITY OF AN ELECTION ON <br />THE QUESTION OF APPROVING THE PASSAGE OF AN ORDINANCE TO <br />AMEND SECTIONS 1501.0101, 1501.0501, 1501.0502, <br />1501.1302, 1501.1901 AND 1501.2101 OF THE CODIFIED <br />ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO, IN ORDER <br />TO INCREASE THE MUNICIPAL INCOME TAX RATE FROM ONE <br />PERCENT TO TWO PERCENT AND TO INCREASE THE MUNICIPAL <br />INCOME TAX CREDIT TO SEVENTY-FIVE PERCENT OF THE INCOME <br />TAX PAID TO ANOTHER MUNICIPALITY ON INCOME TAXED BY THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED TO THE EXTENT THAT THE INCOME TAX <br />SO PAID DOES NOT EXCEED TWO PERCENT OF THAT TAXABLE <br />INCOME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga <br />County, Ohio, that: <br />Section 1. This Council hereby authorizes and directs the submission <br />to the electors of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, at an election to be held <br />at the usual places of voting in the City on Tuesday, November 6, 1990, <br />between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. of that day, of the question of <br />approving the passage of an ordinance to amend Sections 1501.0101, 1501.0501, <br />1501.0502, 1501.1302, 1501.1901 end 1501.2101 of the Codified Ordinances of <br />the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, as established by Ordinance No. 67-70, passed <br />May 16, 1967, as amended by Ordinance No. 68-105, passed June 18, 1968, <br />Ordinance No. 71-161, passed December 21, 1971, and Ordinance No. 82-94, <br />passed December 21, 1982, in order to increase the municipal income tax rate <br />from one percent to two percent and to increase the municipal income tax <br />credit to seventq-five percent of the income tax paid to another municipality <br />on income taxed by the City of North Olmsted to the extent that the income tax <br />so paid does not exceed two percent of that taxable income, which ordinance is <br />set forth in full in Section 2 of this resolution. <br />Section 2. The proposed ordinance to be submitted to the electors of <br />the City for their approval under this resolution shall be as follows:
