.?. ? - -GS-1 Rev. 5/ 15/90 By Councilman McKay NAME OF STREET - Outerbelt South ORDINANCE N0. an-Z-J _ ROUTE N0. - IR 480 @ SR 252 DATE An emergency ordinance enacted by the City of North Olmsted, County of Cuyahoga, Ohio, in the matter of the hereinafter described improvement and to request eooperation by the Director of Transportation. WHEREAS, the City has identified the need for and proposes the improvement of the publie highway whieh is described as follows: Upgrade the two (2) exi$ting traffic aignals at the interehange of IR 480 and SR 252 in the City of North Olmsted. Work Will include replacing the wiring, controller, and other assoeiated hardware as required and adding an interconnect cable to provide eampatibility with existing and proposed City-wide signalization systems. said portion of highway within the municipal corporation limits being hereinafter referred to as the improvement, and WHEREAS, the City further desires cooperation from the Director of Transportation in the planning, design, and construction of said improvement. NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio: SEGTION I (Cooperation) That the City hereby requests the cooperation of the Direetor of Transportation in the cost of the above described improvement as follows; The City does hereby agree to provide construetion contraet plans at entirely its awn cost and expense Whieh shall be the City's total participation in the cost and expense of the improvement. In addition, upon eompletion of the project, the City will assimme ownership and be responsible for the operation and complete maintenance oP these two (2) signals including labor, equipment, materials, energy costs, and as Purther described in Section V herein. SECTION II (Consent) That it is deelared to be in the publie interest that the consent of said City be and such consent is hereby given to the Director of Transportation to eonstruct the above described improvement, in aceordance with plans, specifications and estimates as approved by the Director. SECTION III (Authority to Sign) That the Mayor of said City is hereby empowered and directed on behalf of the City to enter into a$reements with the Director of Transportation necessary to complete the planning and construetion of this improvement.
