<br />? <br />CITY OF NORTfi OIMSTID <br />ORDINANCE N0. 90-70 <br />By: Ronald Tallon <br />AN ORDINANCE TO N1AKE APPRUPRIATIONS FOR CLIRRENT EXPEDTSES <br />AND OTfER EXPIINIDIT[1RES FOR TfE CITY OF NORTI-I OIMSTED FOR <br />THE YF..AR IIVDING DF7CCIIMBER 31, 1990, AND DECLARING AN <br />IIMERGENCY. <br />Whereas, The sale of a 1961 Seagrave fire engine and a 1965 <br />International rescue squad provided $5,100 in revenue; and <br />Whereas, The sale of real estate provided $64,030 in additional <br />revenue; and <br />Whereas, Council wishes to appropriate the funds for the purchase <br />of a ccanputer for the Fire Departrnent, the construction of the Timber <br />Trails box culvert and the purchase of additional street repair <br />material. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF NORTfI OINISTED, <br />COtTN'I'Y OF CLTYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That to provide for current expenses and other <br />expenditures of said City of North O]msted during the year ending <br />Deceqnber 31, 1990, that the following siuns be and they are hereby set <br />aside and appropriated as follows: <br />GIIVERAI, F'UND <br />Fire Departsnent: <br />Equipxnent purchase <br />Service Deparisnent : <br />Street repair material <br />T.i.mber Trails Box Culvert <br />C?arrent Increase Amended <br />9,000 5,100 14,100 <br />50,000 39,000 89,000 <br />62,100 25,000 87,100 <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council shall imr?.?diately forward an <br />attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION 3: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to <br />draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments frcan any of the <br />aforegoing appropriations upon recieving proper certificates and <br />vouchers therefore, approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law <br />to approve same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the <br />expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for the <br />salaries or wages except to persons enployed by authority of and in <br />accordance with law or ordinance. Provided further, that the <br />appropriation for contingencies can only be expended upon approval of <br />two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a legal
