County of Cuyahoga , Ohio, in the matter of the hereinafter described improvement and to request cooperation by the Direetor of Transportation. WHEREAS, the City has identified the need for and proposes the improvement of the publiQ highway whiah is deseribed as follaws: Widen, reoonstruot, and resurface Great Northern Boulevard (SR 252) Prom IR 480 to Lorain Road (SR 10) in t,he City of North Olmsted, a distance of 0.77 miles more or less. said portion of highway within the municipal corporation limits being hereinafter referred to as the improvement, and WHEREAS, the City further desires cooperation fram the Direetor of Transportation in the planning, design, and construation of said improvement. NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Council of the City of North Olmsted , Ohio: 3E(.TION IA (Previous Couneil Aetion) The City does hereby reseind Ordinance No. 89-101 enacted on December 5, 1989 in eonjunetion with the subject improvement. SEGTION IB (Cooperation) That the City hereby reque sts the eooperation of the Direetor of Transportation in the cost of the above desoribed improvement as follows: The City does hereby agree to provide oonstruation aontraat plans at entirely its own oost and expense whioh shall be the City's total partiaipation in the eost and expense of the improvement. In addition, the City agrees to assume and bear one hundred percent (100x) of the cost of any Work inaluded in the aonatruation aontraat, at the request of the City, whiah is determined by the Direator not to be part of or made necessary by the improvement. SEGTION II (Consent) That it is declared to be in the publia interest that the con9ent of said City be and aueh consent is hereby gi.ven to the Direetor of Transportation to construot the above deseribed lmprovement, in accordanee with plans, specifications and estimates as approved by the Direetor. , SECTIOIi III (Authority to Sign ) That the Mayor of said City is hereby empowered and direeted on behalf of the City to enter into agreements with the Director of Transportation neeessary to complete the planning and construetion of this improvement. SELTIOH I11 (Traffic Control Signals and Devices) That traffic eontrol deviees instal].ed within the limits of the project will eonform with Section 4511 of the Ohio Revised Code. Page 1 of 3
