.. . ? . ? ? <br />? <br />- • <br /> <br />? <br />? <br />ORDINANCE N0. 90-58 <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />BY: MAYOR EDWARD BOYLE <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYQR OF THE <br />CITY 4F NORTH OLMSTED TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH <br />WESTERN RESERVE ENGINEERING AND SURVEY COMPANY FOR THE <br />FURPOSE 4F PREPARING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE <br />REPAIR OF VARZOUS STREETS WITHIN THE CITY 4F NORTH <br />OLMSTED. <br />WHEREAS, the administration and council recognize that there are a <br />number of streets within the City of North Olmsted which are currently in <br />such depIorable condition that they require extensive repair and in some <br />instances, repIacement; and <br />WHEREAS, this CounciI recognizes that in order to accompIish the task <br />of repair and or replacement of various streets, that it is necessary to <br />hire the services of an engineer; and <br />WHEREAS, the Administration and Council are hopeful that once the <br />plans and specifications are prepared for the repair of various streets <br />within the city, that grants may very well be avaiIable so that the City's <br />portion of the repair of said streets may be the cost of engineering; and <br />WHEREAS, upon the recomrnendation of the Administration, it is deemed <br />advisable to hire the services ot Western Reserve Engineering and Survey <br />Company. <br />NdW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, CUYAHdGA COUNTY AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION I: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed <br />to enter into an agreement with Western Reserve Engineering and Survey <br />Company for the purpose of deveIoping pIans and specifications for the <br />repair of various streets within the city aII of which wilI be in accord- <br />ance with the contract which is attached hereto and made a part hereof and <br />marked Exhibit "A". In no event, however, shaII the costs of engineering <br />services, as provided for in said attached contract, exceed Three Hundred <br />Thousand Dollars ($300,000.00). <br />1
