? • ? ?. <br />• „?,, ,?,,, <br />M <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 90-52 <br />BY: RON TALLON <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF dRDINANCE N0. 90-38 <br />ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING RATES OF <br />COMPENSATION FOR VARIOUS ADMINISTRATIVE AND LEGI5LATIVE <br />PERSONNEL AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY", AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, through inadvertence, the organizationaI chart for the Law <br />Department, with respect to salaries, was not updated from the year 1989; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, it was the intention of this Council to increase the salary <br />ranges consistent with the annuaI appropriation ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS, with the passage of this ordinance, CounciI wiIl correct the <br />error of omission that occurred in the appropriation of Ordinance No. 90-38 <br />relative to saIaries in the Law Department. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />dLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAIiQGA AND STATE OF QHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 90-38, which now reads: <br />"SECTION 2: That the folIowing saIary ranges are hereby estabIished <br />for empIoyees of the Department of Law. The saIaries specified in this <br />section shaII be determined by the Director of Law. <br />A. Director of Law <br />From To <br />37,600.00 AnnuaIIp <br />B. Assistant Director of Law <br />(Civil) <br />C. Assistant Director of Law <br />(Prosecutor) <br />D. Assistant Prosecutor <br />E. Law Clerk <br />17,400.00 Annually <br />10,250.40 AnnuaIly <br />4,800.00 AnnualIy <br />5.00 per hour 7.50 per hour <br />F. In addition, the Prosecutor and Assistant Prosecutor shalI receive <br />compensation in the amount of $34.00 for each "not guiIty" plea attended to <br />on the behaIf of the City during the period.
