<br />BY THE MAYOR AND THE ENTIRE COUNCIL
<br />A RESOLUTION COMME'VDINC THE ACHIEVIIMENT
<br />OF THE EAGLE SCOITT AWARD IN BOY SCOiTf ING
<br />BY CRAIG HATFIELD
<br />WI-EREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted has been apprised that
<br />the highest rank in Boy Scouting, the EAGLE SCOUT AWARD, has been attained by
<br />CRAIG HATFIELD, Boy Scout Troop No. 664, and
<br />WI-EREAS, in order to attain such an award, these levels of scouting had
<br />to be passed: Tenderfoot, Second Class Scout, First Class Scout, Star Scout
<br />and Life Scout, and
<br />WHEREAS, CRAIG HATFIELD has earned the following Skill Awards: Conserva-
<br />tion, Cooking., Swirrening, Citizenship, Family Living, Coanminity Living, First Aid,
<br />Physical Fitness, Camping, Hiking, Environment and Communications, and has also
<br />earned thirty-one Merit Badges, and
<br />WI-EREAS, CRAIG HATFIELD has served as Den Chief, Assistant Patrol Leader,
<br />Patrol Leader and as a Member of the Leadership Corp; attended simmier camp for
<br />six consecutive years at Camp Avery Hand, and
<br />WFIDtF.A.S, Q2AIG HATFIELD has been an Honor Student for four years, a Member
<br />of the National.Honor Society, Track and Cross Country Teams, the German Club,
<br />Video Yearbook, was listed in Who's Who Among America's High School Students, and
<br />plans to study mechanical engir?eering at Ohio University, and
<br />WfEREAS, CRAIG HATFIELD received two prestigious Catholic Religious Awards,
<br />Ad Altare Dei and Pope Pius XII, and
<br />WIERF.AS, after having accomplished the above mentioned challenges,
<br />CRAIG HATFIELD was interviewed and tested by the Eagle Board of Review, and
<br />WI-EREAS, the reception of the EAGLE SCOUT AWARD by CRAIG HATFIELD is a
<br />noteworthy accomplishment deserving of the congratulations of the entire comnunity.
<br />NOW, TEiEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TI-tE COiJNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OI,MSTED,
<br />COUN1'Y OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO:
<br />SECTION 1: That this Council extends its best wishes and heartiest con-
<br />gratulation-' toTRAIG HATFIELD on his achievement of the rank of EAGLE SCOUT.
<br />SECTICN 2: That the Clerk of Cotmcil be and she is hereby directed to
<br />transmit a copy of this Resolution to the above named CRAIG HATFIELD.
