<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTID <br />ORDINANCE N0. 92-110 <br />BY: COUNCILMAN DEAN MCKAY <br />... <br />.AN ORDINANCE AMIDING SELTION 951.01 OF THE OODIFIED <br />ORDIlJANCES, ENTITZID "USE BY 0THM GOVERNKNLaT <br />IIVTITIffi" OF CHAP'mt 951, FNrITLED "CITY JAIL", ANID <br />DEf:I,ARING AN IIMERGREY. <br />WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the Chief of Police it is the <br />desire of this Council to amend Section 951.01(a) of the Codified <br />Ordinances to upd.ate the amount charged by the City of North Olmsted to <br />other governmental entities for the housing of prisoners in the city jail. <br />NOW, TEiEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY T3E COUNCIL OF 'giE CITY OF NORTIi <br />OLMSTID, COUNi'Y OF CUYAHOGA ANID STA'TE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That Section 951.01 of the Codified Ordinances of the City <br />of North Olmsted, which now reads: <br />"951.01 USE BY 0'iHER GOVERNMETM ENTITIES. <br />(a) There is hereby established a rate of seventy-five <br />dollars ($75.00) per day for the use of the City Jail <br />facilities in the housing of prisoners by other govern- <br />Mental entities. <br />(b) The Chief of Police or any administrative personnel of <br />the Police Division shall keep an accurate record of the use <br />of City Jail facilities by other governmental entities and <br />shall promptly invoice the governmental entity using such <br />facilities and send a ca.rbon copy thereof to the Director of <br />Finance of the City. <br />(c) The Director of Finance is hereby authorized and directed <br />to accept any and all moneys for the use of the City Jail <br />facilities to be deposited in the General Fund." <br />Be and the same is hereby amended, and as amended, shall read as <br />follows: <br />"951.01 USE SY 0'II3ER GOVERNMIIVTAL ENTITIES. <br />(a) There is hereby established a rate of eighty-five <br />dollars ($85.00) per day for the use of the City Jail <br />facilities in the housing of prisoners by other govern- <br />mental entities. <br />(b) The Chief of Police or any administrative personnel <br />of the Police Division shall keep an accurate record of <br />the use of City Jail facilities by other governmental <br />entities and shall promptly invoice the governmental <br />entity using such facilities and send a carbon copy <br />thereof to the Director of Finance of the City.
