<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION 92-61 <br />BY: MAYOR ED BOYLE <br />(11"id-1 <br />qv,? 71 <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AUGUST 1 TO AUGUST 31, 1992 <br />AS THE HOME IMPROVEMENT MONTH IN NORTH OLMSTED AND <br />RATIFYING THE ADMINISTRATION'S DECISION TO WAIVE <br />BUILDING PERMIT FEES FOR RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY <br />IMPROVEMENTS AUGUST 1 TO AUGUST 31, 1992, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, This Administration and City Council wish to <br />continue the implementation of policies which encourage the <br />maintenance and improvement of the housing stock of the City <br />of North Olmsted; and <br />WHEREAS, It is traditional, as the weather improves, <br />for homeowners to undertake home improvement projects. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That August 1 through August 31, 1992 is <br />hereby designated as Home Improvement Month in the City of <br />North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Council does hereby ratify and <br />confirm the action of the City's Administration in providing <br />for a waiver of fees for building permits for residential <br />improvement and maintenance projects on three-family, <br />two-family and one-family homes in the City of North Olmsted <br />from August 1 through August 31, 1992. <br />SECTION 3: The Director of Public Service is <br />designated as the Administrative Official who shall <br />promulgate the issuance of rules and regulations for the <br />implementation of this program. Said rules and regulations <br />are attached hereto marked Exhibit A, and made a part hereof <br />as if fully rewritten herein. <br />SECTION 4: It is found and determined that all formal <br />actions of this Council concerning and relating to the <br />adoption of this Resolution were adopted in an open meeting <br />of this Council, and that all deliberations of this Council <br />and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal <br />action were in meetings open to the public in compliance <br />with all legal requirements, including Section 121.22 of the <br />Ohio Revised Code.
