CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED RESOLUTION 92-61 BY: MAYOR ED BOYLE (11"id-1 qv,? 71 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AUGUST 1 TO AUGUST 31, 1992 AS THE HOME IMPROVEMENT MONTH IN NORTH OLMSTED AND RATIFYING THE ADMINISTRATION'S DECISION TO WAIVE BUILDING PERMIT FEES FOR RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY IMPROVEMENTS AUGUST 1 TO AUGUST 31, 1992, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, This Administration and City Council wish to continue the implementation of policies which encourage the maintenance and improvement of the housing stock of the City of North Olmsted; and WHEREAS, It is traditional, as the weather improves, for homeowners to undertake home improvement projects. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION l: That August 1 through August 31, 1992 is hereby designated as Home Improvement Month in the City of North Olmsted. SECTION 2: That this Council does hereby ratify and confirm the action of the City's Administration in providing for a waiver of fees for building permits for residential improvement and maintenance projects on three-family, two-family and one-family homes in the City of North Olmsted from August 1 through August 31, 1992. SECTION 3: The Director of Public Service is designated as the Administrative Official who shall promulgate the issuance of rules and regulations for the implementation of this program. Said rules and regulations are attached hereto marked Exhibit A, and made a part hereof as if fully rewritten herein. SECTION 4: It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the adoption of this Resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements, including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
