? <br />. <br />CITY OF NORTi OIMSM <br />RESOLUTION N0. 92-57 <br />BY: THE MAYOR AND ENTIRE COUNCIL <br />A RESOLUTION CONMENDING 'IIHE ACHIEVIIKIINTS BY <br />JAME,S LIVINGSTON OF TfiEE EAGLE SCOUT AWARD <br />IN BOY SCOUTING <br />WBEREP,S, this Council and the Administration recognize and reaffirm their <br />dedication to organized Scouting; and <br />WBEREAS, this Council and the Administration further recognize that those <br />participating in Scouting, both the youths and their leaders, are an invaluable <br />asset to the community and the Nation, and that the ideals of Scouting, the <br />Scout Law arxi the Scout Pledge are comanitments that all citizens should strive <br />for; and <br />Wf3FRFAS, when ane of aur young citizens ha.s been committed to Scouting to <br />such an extent that he earns the rank of Eagle Scout, it is truly a noteworthy <br />accomplishment; and <br />WBEREAS, JAMES LIVINGSTON, as a member of Boy Scout Troop 664, has <br />participated in the following activities: All Scouts Day - Honorary Official, <br />Sumner Camp, Memorial Day Parades, numerous week camp outs, Wright Patterson <br />Trip, Silver Bugle Award - ASD, Trapper - Frontier Program, Fort Knox Easter <br />trip; and <br />WHEREAS, JAMES LIVINGSTON, in achieving the Eagle Scout Award, has earned <br />the following skill awards: Camping, Communication, Conservation, Cooking, <br />Community Living, Citizenship, First Aid, Hiking, and Swimming; and <br />WfEREAS, JAMES LIVINGSTON, in achieving the Eagle Scout Award, has earned <br />thirty Merit Badges; and <br />WHEREAS, JA21ES LIVINGSTON has been chosen to serve as an Honorary Ma.yor <br />during the 1992 All Scouts Weekend; and <br />WHEREAS, while JAMES was undertaking a11 these Scouting projects, he <br />excelled at many school activities: National Honor Society member, Marching <br />Band member, Symphonic Band member, Jazz Band member, Academic Letter, Band <br />Letter; and <br />WHEREAS, JAMES plans to attend the University of Cincinnati and pursue a <br />degree in Engineering; and <br />WHIItEAS, the reception of the Eagle Scout Award by JAMES LIVINGSTON is a <br />noteworthy accomplishment deserving of the congratulations of the entire <br />commtuzity. <br />
