_ . . _ ....a._.. _ . __. <br />???......?.,??.„?u ., ., . <br />? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96- 24 <br />By: Councilman George Nashar <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF BRETTON RIDGE <br />PHASE 3 AS DETAILED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR THE SAME, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is desirous of improving the <br />pavement and sewers on Phase 3 of the Bretton Ridge Subdivision, and <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepared under the direction of the <br />Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an <br />Agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for the bids for the improvement of Bretton Ridge Phase 3 according to <br />specifications now on file in his office and that, upon approval by the Board of Control, <br />the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a Contract and execute same on behalf of the <br />City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and <br />further, provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the <br />Mayor.
