CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 96 - 4 BY: Councilwoman Janet A. Saringer AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING FOR RECORDING PURPOSES ONLY THE PLAT FOR THE REDEDICATION OF HAWKINS AVENUE FOR STREET AND HIGHWAY PURPOSES IN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the plat for the Rededication of Hawkins Avenue was approved by the Planning Commission on November 28, 1995 and referred to Council, and WHEREAS, the plat for the Rededication of Hawkins Avenue defines the location of Hawkins Avenue, and WHEREAS, said plat has been approved by the City Engineer as being in conformance, with the exception of the right-of-way width with the Resolutions and Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That this Council, having been advised of the approval of the Planning Commission of the plat of the Rededication of Hawkins Avenue, and also having been advised by the City Engineer that it meets, with the exception of the right-of- way width, the requirements of the Resolution and Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, hereby approves the plat for recording purposes only. SECTION 2: That this Council, having been advised of the approval of the Planning Commission, hereby re-dedicates Hawkins Avenue, for street and highway purposes, from the north line of Vincent Dr`ive northerly (approximately 145.15 feet, centerline distance) to the City of North Olmsted North Corporation Line, as designated on the Plat titled" Rededication of Hawkins Avenue for the City of North Olmsted", a copy of which is noted as "Exhibit A" and hereto attached and made part of this Ordinance. SECTION 3: That, upon the effective date of this Ordinance, the City Engineer is hereby directed to cause said plat to be recorded according to law.
