? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 96 - 194 <br />BY: Councilman George Nashar <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL FILE OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED BY PROVIDING FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A <br />STOP SIGN ON JACQUELINE LANE WHERE THE SAME INTERSECTS <br />WITH BARTON ROAD, THEREBY REGULATING TRAFFIC ENTERING <br />BARTON ROAD, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the maintenance of a Traffic <br />Control File which said file can be amended only by Ordinance. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Police Department be and the same is hereby authorized and <br />directed to amend the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted to indicate <br />thereon the installation of a stop sign on Jacqueline Lane where the same intersects with <br />Barton Road, thereby regulating the traffic entering Barton Road. <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to cause said <br />stop sign to be installed in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare'of the <br />citizens of the City of North Olmsted, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote <br />of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage and approval by the Mayor..
