.? <br /> <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96-192 <br />BY: Ma. ovle <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR AN ADDITION AND ALTERATIONS AT THE POLICE <br />STATION AS DETAILED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE AND AUTHORIZING <br />THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR THE SAME, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is desirous of constructing various <br />improvements at the Police Station, and <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepared under the direction of the <br />Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an <br />agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for an addition and alteration at the Police Station according to specifications <br />now on file in his office and that, upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby <br />authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and further <br />provided it received the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
