J w,..w,,.. , . <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 96-167 <br />BY: Councilman Lind <br />AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER APPROPRIATIONS <br />FOR CURRENT EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES <br />FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED FOR THE YEAR <br />ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1996. <br />WHEREAS, Council wishes to transfer certain appropriations for the year ending <br />December 31, 1996. <br />. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND THE STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That to provide for current expenses and other expenditures of <br />said City of North Olmsted during the year ending December 31, 1996, that the following <br />sums be and they are hereby set-aside and appropriated as follows: <br />SEWER REVENUE FUND <br />CURRENT CHANGE AMENDED <br />SUPERINTENDENT 53,331 -0- 53,331 <br />ADMINISTRATION 979,550 2,500 982,050 <br />PLANT OPERATIONS 2,234,750 169,000 2,403,750 <br />SYSTEMS OPERATIONS 574,000 (171,500) 402,500 <br />DEBT SERVICE 179,585 -0- 179,585 <br />TOTAL 4,021,216 -0- 4,021,216 <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward an attested <br />copy of this ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION 3: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw his <br />warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the aforegoing appropriations <br />upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefore, approved same, or an <br />Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that no warrants <br />shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons employed by authority of <br />and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided further, that the appropriations for <br />contingencies can only be expended upon approval of two-thirds vote of Council for <br />items of expense other than those covered by other specific appropriations herein made. <br />SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force at the <br />earliest date permitted by Article IV, Section 12, of the Charter of the City of North <br />Olmsted.
