CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 96-167 BY: Councilman Lind AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURRENT EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1996. WHEREAS, Council wishes to transfer certain appropriations for the year ending December 31, 1996. . NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND THE STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That to provide for current expenses and other expenditures of said City of North Olmsted during the year ending December 31, 1996, that the following sums be and they are hereby set-aside and appropriated as follows: SEWER REVENUE FUND CURRENT CHANGE AMENDED SUPERINTENDENT 53,331 -0- 53,331 ADMINISTRATION 979,550 2,500 982,050 PLANT OPERATIONS 2,234,750 169,000 2,403,750 SYSTEMS OPERATIONS 574,000 (171,500) 402,500 DEBT SERVICE 179,585 -0- 179,585 TOTAL 4,021,216 -0- 4,021,216 SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward an attested copy of this ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. SECTION 3: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the aforegoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefore, approved same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided further, that the appropriations for contingencies can only be expended upon approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense other than those covered by other specific appropriations herein made. SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force at the earliest date permitted by Article IV, Section 12, of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted.
