Hammond are in the process of being sold and which premises <br />are located on the Southerly side of Lorain Road and are the txa propertiee Eaaterly <br />?of the A& F Super Market located on the South East corner of Columbia & Lorain RoadB <br />and which premises are more particularly known as the premises of Dan Romp, and <br />IhtHEREAS, it has been further reported to Council by the Enginesrs that the <br />corner property at Columbia & Lorain Roads could not enter into the prapoaed lateral <br />sewer to serve said premises originally designsd to be constructed on the Northerly <br />side of said premises parallel to Lorain Road and lying within a proposed 10 foot <br />Easement over said northerly portion of said Romp property without the owners or <br />users of buildings to be loaated on said premises using a puwp to pvaQ esi.d sanitazy <br />sewerage into said Line arncl thereforel it had been intenled by trhe owners of said <br />premises to so improve aai.d premises that $anitary sewerags therefrmm would ent,er <br />into the Columb3.a Road ].atersl sewer at the Southweatsrly owner oP s aid promises <br />and which situation Would bs equally applicable to the prssent A& P SIVer Market <br />on the Eastsrly portion of said Romp property, and as it is now intended that the <br />purchasere of the Scshneider and Hamvnd properties improve aaid praperties by the <br />construction of a mercantils type of building and the -?probleffi of util3.sing the - <br />proposed lateral eanitarg sewer on the Northerly port3.on oF their premises in a <br />proposed 10 foot Easement adjacent to Lorain Road would further require pwnping <br />faailities to get into sa3.d sewer and thst all of the int•rreeted property ownsrs <br />now feel that it would be better and more econoraical to reloaate eaid propQsed <br />lateral sanitary sewer from Lorain Road to the Southerly portion af the Schneide,r <br />arid Hammond and Romp property so as to piak up sanitary aeWerage thsrefrm and to <br />discharge same into the lateral sanitary sewer to be located on Colttmbia Road and <br />Council,, upon review of this situation.. has deemed it adv3.saU1.e to so relocarte said <br />praposed lateral sewer to be assessed in the aame manner as though it were ta be <br />relocated in the proposed Easement adjaaent to Lora3.n Nc>ad. <br />P1fJW, THEREFfgtE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North Olmated,9 <br />State of Ohio r <br />Section 1. That Floyd G. Browns & Associatesp Consultirig Sngineersp be <br />and are hereby authorized and direeted to imediately prepare amended plans for the <br />installstion of the lateral aanitary sewer on the South side of Lora3.n Road and East <br />of Coltunbia to the Easterly line of the Hammond property and in lieu thereof,, design <br />detailed plans for the location of a Zateral sanitary sewer to serve the parce3s of <br />].and an the South East corner of Coliunbia Road and to include Easterly thereof the <br />properties of Frank Schneider and Henry A. Hammand by locating said propoaed latsral <br />sanitary sewer to be located on the extreme Southerly line of said properties to a <br />point of connection to the Columbia Road 7.ateral sanitary sewer abutting the Sout?ftbterly <br />corner of the Dan Romp property and to have said revised plans on file with the Service <br />Directar not later than the 15th day of December., 1960, <br />Secti.on 2. That this reaolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure and auch emergencq exists bq virtue of the necessity of having the complete <br />detailed plans for lateral sanitary sewers on file with the Service Direetor as revised <br />tia the date of the ptablication of the first ad for the Purnishing of labor and material <br />for the completion of said Contraet #4,, wh3ch ad is pressntly detarmined to be first <br />published December 22d, all for the preservation of the public health, safety and <br />general we re. ?-' <br />j; <br />PASSED f ?-?=-?- c) ATTEST: ?.-- <br />?
