<br />Section l: That the assessment cf the cost and expense of i.mproving Lucille
<br />Drive from Grace Road to the easterly boundary of Metropolitan Park Allotment by con-
<br />structing and installing therein a sideticalk on both sides thereof2 azaounti.ng in the
<br />aggregate to $3,350.00, as reported to this Council on the 21st day of A?)ril, 1959, by
<br />the City Engineer, notice of the filing of which assessment has been given as xeauired
<br />by lata, be and the same is hereby adopted and confirmed, and -that there be and is nereby
<br />levied and assessed upon the lots and la,nds abutting upon szid improvementv to wit: all
<br />lots and lands boundirg and abuttin.g Lucille Drive from Grace Road to tne easterly brnznd•-
<br />ary of i-ietropolitan Park Allotment includxng the termini of the improvement, the several
<br />amounts reported as aforesaid, which assessments, together irith the description of sa.id
<br />lots and lands are now on file i.n the oifice of the Clerk of tizis Council, and which
<br />assessments are at the rate af ?,3.1«44 per foot front, and ase not in excess of tYie
<br />an,y statutory limitation.
<br />Section 2: Tha,t the tota,l t:ssess,-ient against each lot or LL;arcel oz l,-:;nd siiall
<br />be payable in cash tirithin tilirty du,ys from uxid after the passage af this ordinence, or
<br />at the ontion of the o?%,ner, in ten z3Vr,nua7. installments with interest at the same rwte as
<br />shu,ll be borne by the bonds to be issued in anticipation oi the collection of the same.
<br />All cash pa3rments sha,ll 'ae made to tre Treasurer of said city. gll assess-iilents and
<br />insta,l.lrients thereof rem.aining unpaid at the expiration of said thi?.?ty da,vs shall be
<br />certified by the Clerk of this Council to the Caunty Auditor, as provided b;.,? law, and
<br />to be 'oy rim placed cn the tax du-,?licate and collected as other taxes are collected.
