CITY OF NORTH OLNSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. ~(~ 2L~ <br />AN C~DIN/9NCE AUi'H(~IZING a.ND DIRECTING TKE CANGELLATION <br />OF SPECIAL ASSESSA'~tTS ON P~~.,f1ENT PARCEL NO. 23L~-7b-3 <br />ON BAftTON ROAD IN THE CITY OF NOl~TH OLMSTED, AND DECLAR.IT?G <br />AN EI+~i.GENCY. <br />WHEREAS, heretofore special assessments have been certified by the Auditor <br />of the City of North 07msted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, for the <br />improvement of Barton Road in the City of North Olmsted, by constructing therein <br />a water main {#l), and <br />T~EREAS, R, T. Patchin has paid said assessments together with the accrued <br />interest thereon, levied against Permanent Parcel No. 23t~-16-3 on Barton -load in <br />the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT (~DAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, <br />State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to cancel all future assessments beginning with the <br />year 1958 inclusive and continuing through the year 1962, which have been <br />certified and levied on Permanent Parcel No, 23~.-1b-3 on Barton Road in the <br />City of A?orth Olmsted Ohio, which assessments have been certified and levied <br />for the improvement of Barton Road by constructing therein a water main {#~}, <br />Section 2: That the Treasurer of the City of North Olmsted is hereby <br />authorized and directed to receive payment i.n full with interest (3-3/~t~} on <br />such assessment beginning with the year 1958 inclusive and continuing through <br />the year 1962, which annual rate of principal and interest amounts to the sum <br />of ~ 1O3,ltO per annum. <br />Section 3: That the G1erk is hereby directed to forward an attested <br />copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, <br />Section 4: in1HEREFORE, th%s Ordinance i~~ hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace and welfare <br />of the Gity of North Olmsted, and, such emergency exists by virtue of the necessity <br />to make arrangements for the immediate cancellation of special assessr~nts on <br />Permanent Parcel I~?o. 23~-1b-3 levied for the irrg~r. ovement of Barton Road in the <br />City of North Olmsted, by constructing therein a watex main (~~.}, which special <br />assessments together with interest thereon for the year 1958 and continuing <br />through the year 1962 inclusive, have been paid :in full. <br />U:~~EREFflr'~.E, this Ordinance shall take immediate effect from <br />and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />,j, <br />PASSED/ J~~ .sue "" ~ ~ 9~ e, ~' <br />ty <br />ATTEST: <br />~~..-~ <br />C ~' CO .~~~--- <br />APPROVED: <br />~~ <br />d <br />~'1 <br />~~,. ~ <br />E O C <br />
