.. <br />ORDINANCE N0. ~~; j <br />BY: Mr. ~~ti~ AN ORDINANCE FI,~ING THE COMPENSATION <br />TO BE PAID EXTRA OFFICE EMPLOYEES, <br />AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 20$4, <br />PASSED FEBRUARY 1, 1955. <br />WHEREAS, it appears to this Council that it is necessary <br />from time to time, because of additi anal work required, illness or <br />other unforeseen circumstances, to temporarily employ extra cler- <br />ical assistance for the City. <br />NOGtT, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, STATE OF 0 HIO: <br />That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to employ <br />extra clerical assistance because of additional work required, <br />illness or other unforeseen circtnnstances as, in his opinion, <br />may be necessary to properly carry on the functions of the <br />administrative departments of the City. <br />That the rates of compensation for such extra clerical <br />assistance shall be in accordance with their experience and the <br />requirements of the City, on a sliding scale of X1.35, 1.50, <br />1.?5, or X2.00 per hour. <br />That Ordinance No. 20$4, passed February 1, 1955, or <br />any other ordinance, part or section of any ordinance inconsistent <br />herewith, b e a rd the same is hereby repealed. <br />This is an emergency measure necessary for the public <br />health, peace and safety and to provide compensation for extra <br />clerical assistance for the City. <br />PASSED: December ~ , 1957. <br />-~ ATTEST: <br />"M,r~ r <br />~Z~~G ,/ <br />E.
