CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION No. 62-r <br />~` <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING INQUIRY INTO THE <br />FEASIBILITY OF CONTRACTS WITH THB YILLAGT OF <br />OLMSTED FALLS, THE VILLAGE OF WESTVI~3W AND <br />THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF CUYAHOGA COUNTY <br />ON BBHALF OF OLM3TED TOWNSHIP FOR THE U;SE OF <br />THB CITY OF N(?RTH OLMSTED'S SEWAGE TRBATMSNT <br />PLANT, AND DECLARING AN EMBRGENCY. <br />WHEItTAS, the Village of Olmsted Fa11s, the <br />Village of Westview and Olmsted Township by and through the <br />Commissioners of Cuyahoga County have. met to devise a system <br />of sanitary sewers for their respective areas and are .interested <br />in the feasibility of sanitary sewage systems which might <br />utilize on a contract basis the sewage treatment plant of the <br />City of North Olmsted; and <br />WH.F,RBAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted <br />wishes to make known that it is receptive to the use by the Village <br />of Olmsted Falls, the Village of Westvew and the area camprising <br />Olmsted Township of the North Olmsted sewage treatment pleat pro- <br />vided contracts satisfactory to the City of North Olmsted can be <br />negotiated; and <br />WHEREAS, certain facts and figures and tentative <br />plans are necessary in order to enable all parties to properly <br />consider the terms of any such contract. <br />NOW, THEREFORfi, BE IT RESOLVBD by the Council of <br />the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohios <br />Section 1: That the Council of the City of North Olmsted <br />desires to make it a matter of record that it is receptive to a <br />full discussion of the feasibility with one or more of the following: <br />Village of Olmsted Falls, Village of Westview and Olmsted Township, <br />by and through the Commissioners of Cuyahoga County, for the parti- <br />cipation by one or more of said areas in the use of the sewage <br />treatment plant of the City of North O1®sted, providing that con- <br />tracts for such use and participation satisfactory to the Gity of <br />North Olmsted can be negotiated and executed, <br />Section ?: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure necessary to the preservation of public health <br />and welfare of the City of North (}imsted and such emergency exists <br />by virtue of the necessity of determining as soon a: possible whether <br />any changes in the present sanitary sewage plans of the City of <br />North Olmsted wi11 be required so that such sanitary sewage plan <br />can be carried out without delaq. <br />Section 3s Wherefore, this Resolution shall take effect <br />immediately from and after passage, otherwise, at the earliest <br />period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: ~'° a2 ~ " 6 oZ ~ ~. <br />race Mac aald, reatident o <br />ATTEST: r Council <br />Louise Hall, Clerk o unc l <br />APPR,~BD: ~',~ <br />,. t• <br />v° ~~~1i~~ r~ <br />Paul .
