? <br />CI TY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 68-82 <br />, <br /> <br />BY <br />? <br />ORDINANCE EXPRESSING COUNCIL'S DETERMINATION TO PROCEED WITH <br />THE CONSTRUCTION OF LATERAL, TRUNK AND INTERCEPTING SEWERS, <br />LIFT STATION AND APPURTENANCE THERETO IN ZONE 2 AND ZONE 3 <br />OF THE GENERAL PLAN FOR THE SANITARY SEWERAGE SYSTEM OF THE <br />CI lY; AUTHORI ZI NG THE MAYOR TO DI RECT CONSULTI NG ENGI NEERS, <br />FLOYD G. BROWNE AND ASSOCIATES, LTD, TO FURNISH ENGINEERING <br />SERVICES INCIDENTAL THERETO; APPROPRIATING THE FUNDS THERE- <br />FORE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted authorized the <br />up-dating of the general plans for the sanitary sewerage system of the <br />City by the adoption of Ordinance 66-255, and <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio authorized <br />the Mayor to file an application for a Federal Water Pollution Control <br />Agency Grant under Public Law 660, and <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio anticipating <br />the offer from the Federal Water Pollution Control Agency under Public Law <br />660, desires to be ready to accept the offer when it is tendered, and <br />WHEREAS, the Council.`of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio had pre- <br />' viously declared its intention'to proceed with the construction of addi- <br />tions to the sanitary sewerage system in Zones 2 and 3 of the City, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be i t ordai ned by the Counci 1 of the Ci ty of North <br />Olmsted, Ohio: <br />SECTION 1 <br />That the Council of the City of North Olmsted hereby reaffirms its <br />intention to proceed with construction of additions to the sanitary sewerage <br />system in Zone 2 and Zone 3 as follows: <br />Zone 2- Proposed lateral, trunk, and intercepting sanitary sewers <br />in accordance with the general plan as shown on Plate 4 <br />and attached hereto. <br />Zone 3- Proposed lateral, trunk, and intercepting sanitary sewers, <br />lift station, force main and appurtenances in accordance <br />with the general plan as shown on Plate 5 and attached <br />hereto. <br />S ECTI ON 2 <br />That the Mayor be and he is hereby directed to authorize Consulting <br />Engineers, Floyd G. Browne and Associates, Ltd., to furnish engineering <br />services incidental thereto. <br />SECTION 3 <br />That funds be and are hereby appropriated from the sanitary sewer <br />construction fund for the purpose of ineeting this obligation. <br />SECTI ON 4 ` <br />That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and <br />welfare of the citizens of North Olmsted and for the specific reason <br />i , <br />
