<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 68-67 <br />RY <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING RATES TO BE CHARGED TO USERS OF <br />THE NORTH OLMSTED MUNICIPAL SANITARY SEWERA6E SYSTEM WHO <br />° ARE LOCATED IN OLMSTED TOWNSHIP, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted constructed its Sanitary Sewerage <br />System with trunks and interceptor sewers, which permitted certain areas <br />? within Olmsted Township to connect to the North Olmsted Sanitary Sewerage <br />System, and <br />WHEREAS, on April 15, 1965, the City of North Olmsted through its <br />Mayor and Cuyahoga County through its Cuyahoga County Commissioners entered <br />. into an agreement whereby'the City of North Olmsted agreed to transport <br />sewerage from ce`rtain areas within Olmsted Township to the North Olmsted <br />Sewerage Treatment Plant and to treat said sewerage so transported, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Cuyahoga County Commissioners and the City of <br />North Olmsted in the aforesaid agreement established the rate to be charged <br />to the users of'the North Olmsted Sanitary Sewerage System who are located <br />' in the Olmsted Township. ' <br />l NOW, THEREFORE, BE I T ORDAI NED by the Counci 1 of the Ci ty of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section l. That there is hereby levied and charged upon each lot, <br />parcel of land, or premise located in Olmsted Township having or required <br />to have a connection with the North Olmsted Sanitary Sewerage System, or <br />otherwise discharging sewerage, industrial waste, water or other liquids <br />Qither directly or indirectly into the North Olmsted Sanitary Sewerage <br />System, sewer charges payable as hereinafter provided and in amounts to be <br />determined as fotlows: <br />A. For premises supplied by metered public water supply, the <br />following rates shall apply to be computed on the basis of <br />water consumption as measured by such water, to wit: <br />$6.05 for the first 1,000 cubic feet or any portion thereof <br />of water consumed per quarter, and at the rate of $6.05 per <br />each 1,000 cubic feet of water consumed thereafter, but not <br />less than $6.05 per quarter. <br />B. For all other users, the following chargesiper month: <br />$ 7.50 for single family dwellings; <br />$15.00 for two-family dwellings having a single connection; <br />$ 1.40 per room, for hotels and motels; <br />$ 5.00 per apartment, for multiple family dwellings other <br />• '? than two-family dwellings; <br />' $ 1.16 per employee, for industrial users; <br />$ .29 per pupi1, for schools and projected over a full <br />twelve month period; <br />? $ 9•70 per public toilet for stores, restaurants, filling <br />stations and other commercial establishments; <br />$ 5.00 per private toilet for stores, restaurants, filling <br />stations and other commercial establishments. <br />C. In addition to the aforesaid charges for the use of the City's <br />sewage transportation and treatment facilities, the City shall be <br />entitled to collect a tap-in charge of $924.00 for each sewer con- <br />nection made directly to the City's trunk or interceptor sewer of <br />any building located on property in Olmsted Township abutting upon <br />a street or easement in which such sewer is located, which charge <br />shall be col)ected by the City at the time the permit for such con-.` <br />nection is Cssued. <br />...
