CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />• <br /> <br />ORD I NANCE N0. 4L4-R,17 <br />? • <br />6Y U <br />` AN QRDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CANCELLATION <br />OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ON PERMANENT PARCEI N0. 235-14-85 <br />, BEING AN ASSESSMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A STORM SEWER <br />, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Auditor of thQ <br />City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the <br />cbnstruction of a storm sewer. <br />WHEREAS, Homer Combs of 6074 Porter Road <br />have paid the sum of $ 255•36in payment of said special assessments, in advoncIt, <br />for the tax years 19 65 through 19 72 , inclusive, together with accrued tntapo$t <br />levied thereon against Permanent Parcel No. 235-14-85 in the City of HOrLh <br />Olmsted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the C1ty of North <br />Oimsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section l; That the Auditor'of Cuyahoga County be and he ia heraby <br />authorized and directed to cancel for the years 19 65through 19 72 , inclusive <br />assessments in full for, construction of a storm sewer <br />Section 2: That the Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted <br />Is hereby authorized and directed to receive payment in advanee on such <br />assessments for the period 19 65 through 19 72 , inclusive, amounting to <br />$ 255.36on said parcel. <br />Section 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forwaPd <br />an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohip. <br />Section 4: Wherefore, this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health <br />and welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue <br />of the necessity of cancelling the special assessments on Permanent Parcei <br />No. 235-14-85 , for construction of a storm sewer <br />Section 5: Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediatsly <br />from and aft r its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law.
