CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 78 - 165 BY : Lt.. AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURRENT EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1978, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, STATE OF OHIO: Section l. That the Finance Director be and he is hereby authorized and directed to transfer appropriations as follows: GENERAL REVENUE SHARING FUND FROM: Fire Wages ....................................$20,000.00 T0: Recreation Center Expenses ....................$20,000.00 Section 2. That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward an attested copy of the Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. Section 3. That the City Finance Director is hereby authorized to draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the foregoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefor, approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salarmes pr wages except to persons employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided, further that the appropriations for contingencies can only he erKpenie+8 upon aiptobal of *wo-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a legal obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered by the other specific appropriations herein made. Section 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force at the earliest date permitted by Article IV, Section 12, of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted.
