<br />AN ORIIINANCE ANIENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE N0.
<br />77-111 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING HOSPITAL-
<br />IZATION BENEFITS FOR VARIOUS CITY aTPLOYEES ED'd'LOYED
<br />BY Tf-IE CITY OF NORTH OaISTED, AND DECLAFtING AN
<br />IlMERGEVCY".
<br />Wf-EREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City
<br />to provide for hospitalization benefits for the various emnloyees of the City
<br />of North Olmsted, and
<br />W1MREAS, this Council deems it to be more practical to include with
<br />respect to hospitalization beneifts, as many employees as is practicable within
<br />the scope of one ordinance.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF TFIE CITY OF NORTH
<br />OLNISTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO:
<br />SECTION 1: That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 77-111 which now reads:
<br />"SECTION l: That, effective June 22, 1977, all f_ull-time employees
<br />within the Builc? Department, North Olmsted N1Lmicipal Bus Line, Police
<br />Department, Fire Department, Finance Department, Engineering Department, Public
<br />Service and Properties Section of the Public Works Division of the Department
<br />of Public Services, Department of Human Resources, PBX (7nerator/Receptionist,
<br />Secretary to the Clerk of Council, Assistant Law Director - Prosecutor (the
<br />full-time reauirement for the Prosecuting Attorney is hereby waived), Wastewater
<br />Treatment Facilities, Collection System, and Lift Stations, a Section of the
<br />Public Works Division of the City, as well as the Clerk of Council, the appointed
<br />Directors of the various departments, the Administrative Assistant, and the full-
<br />time secretaries and clerical assistants of the various departments shall receive
<br />the following employment benefits:
<br />The City shall pay the full cost of hospitalization for a family
<br />hospitalization plan or the full cost of hospitalization for a single person's
<br />rate, with either Blue Cross - Medical Mutual or Kaiser Corronunity Health
<br />Foundation Plan, the choice of which will be at the option of the respective
<br />employee."
<br />be and the same is hereby amended, and when amended shall read as follows:
<br />SECTION l: That effective Navember1r 1978, all full-tirrie employees within
<br />the Buil ing Department, North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, Police Department,
<br />Fire Department, Finance Department, Engineering Department, Public Service
<br />and Properties Section of the Public Works Division of the Department of Public
<br />Service, Department of Hwnan Resources, PBX Oaerator/Receptionist, Secretary to
<br />the Clerk of Council, Assistant Law Director - Prosecutor (the full-time reauire-
<br />ment for the Prosecuting Attorney is hereby waived), Wastewater Treatment
<br />Facilities, Collection System, and Life Stations, a Section of the Public Works
<br />Division of the City, as well as the Clerk of Council, the appointed Directors
<br />of the various departments, the Administrative Assistant, the full-time
<br />secretaries and clerical assistants of the various departments, and full-time
<br />employees of the Recreation Complex shall receive the following employment
<br />benefits:
