<br />CITY OF NORTH 0124.STED <br />RESOLiJTION N0. 78-LSo?i <br />BY : <br />A RESOLUTION AiJTHORIZING AND DIRECTING TI-E NIAYOR <br />TO ':KAKE APPLICATION TO `I'EE CUYAHOGA COUNTY BOARD OF <br />COMMISSIONERS FOR APPROVAL TO IJSE CUYAHOGA COUNTY <br />MOTOR VEHICLE $5.00 LICENSE TAX F[NDS FOR PARTICI- <br />PATION WITH T'f-iE COUNTY IN Tf-IE INIPROVEVIENT OF BROOKPARK <br />ROAD, AND DECLARING AN EMER(ENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY Tf-IE COiJNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COIJ.NTY <br />OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed <br />to ma.ke application to the Cuyahoga Comty Board of Commissioners for <br />approval to use Cuyahoga County N7otor Vehicle $5.00 License Tax Fmds for <br />participation with the County in the improvement of Brookpark Road by <br />installing roadway illtunination from Lorain Road to the North Olmsted <br />east city line, under the supervision of the County of Cuyahoga and/or <br />the State of Ohio Department of Transportation. <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby directed <br />to transmit copies of the application, together with a certified copy of <br />this Resolution to the Cuyahoga County Board of Commissioners and to the <br />Cuyahoga CoLmty Engineer. <br />SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure imme?tely necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary for <br />the protection of the traveling public, and further provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to CoLmcil, it shall <br />take effect and be in force irrnnediately upon its passage and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br />PASSED : / 97Z <br />ATTEST: <br />9AAZc? ?_" C? <br />FLOREN E.
