CITY OF NORTH 0I24STED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 78- //6 <br />BY??,e.l,???r?li?? <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL MA]? <br />AND FILE OF Tf-IE CITY OF NORTH 011,ISTED TO PROVIDE <br />FOR T'HE INSTALLATION OF T'HtEE STOP SIGNS AT T'IE <br />INTERSECTION OF BRENDAN LANE AND ELM DRIVE. <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to have three stop signs <br />installed at the intersection of Brendan Lane and Elm Drive thereby controlling <br />traffic traveling in a southerly, westerly, and easterly direction by installing <br />a stop sign on the northwest corner of Brendan Lane where the same intersects <br />with Elm Drive, installing a stop sign on the northeast corner of Elm Drive <br />at its intersection with Brendan Lane, and installing a stop sign on the south- <br />west corner of Elm Drive at its intersection with Brendan Lane. <br />WfIEREAS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the maintenance of <br />the traffic control map, which said map can be amended only by ordinance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CTTY OF NQRTH OIMSTED, <br />COUN'I'Y OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Police Department be and the same is hereby authorized <br />and directe to amend the traffic control map and file o£ the City of North <br />Olmsted to indicate thereon the installation of three stop signs installed at <br />the intersection of Brendan Lane and Elm Drive, thereby controlling traffic <br />traveling on Elm Drive in an easterly and westerly direction by installing <br />a stop sign on the southwest corner of Elm Drive, where the same intersects <br />with Brendan Lane, and also the installation of a stop sign on the northeast <br />corner of Elm Drive, at its intersection with Brendan Lane, and thereby con- <br />trolling traffic traveling on Brendan Lane in a southerly direction by installing <br />a stop sign on the northwest corner of Brendan Lane where the same intersects <br />with Elm Drive. <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor and he is hereby directed to cause said StOp <br />signs to be installed in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from <br />and a ter t e earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: l97d", <br />ATTEST: <br />.- <br />FLORENCE E.
