CITY OF NORTH OLTtiSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 78-// <br />BY ?/ <br />AN OFtDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL AND <br />FILE OF T'f-iE CITY OF NORTf-I OULSTED TO PROVIDE <br />FOR THE INSTALLATION OF TWO STOP SIGNS ON MICHAEL <br />DRIVE. WHERE THE SAN1E INTERSECTS WITH EDI DRIVE. <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to have two stop signs installed <br />on Michael Drive where the same intersects with Elm Drive thereby controlling <br />traffic traveling on T-lichael Drive in a northerly and southerly direction by <br />installing a stop sign on the northwest corner of Michael Drive where the same <br />intersects with Elm Drive, and also installing a stop sign on the southeast <br />corner of T4ichael Drive at its intersection with Elm Drive. <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the maintenance of <br />the traffic control map, which said ma.p can be amended only by ordinance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF NORTH 0I17STED, COLJNTY OF <br />CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Police Department be and the same is hereby authorized <br />and dlrected to amend the traffic control map and file of the City of North <br />Olmsted to indicate thereon the installation of two stop signs installed on <br />Michael Drive where the same intersects with Elm Drive thereby controlling <br />traffic traveling on Michael Drive in a northerly and southerly direction by <br />installing a stop sign on the northwest corner of A-lichael Drive where the <br />same intersects with Elm Drive, and also the installation of a stop sign on the <br />southeast corne:° of Michael Drive at its intersection with Flm Drive. <br />SECTION 2: That the T1a.yor and he is hereby directed to cause said stop <br />signs to be installed in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and <br />after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED:?p -3- 71' <br />ATT'EST : <br />CEL. -C`ANfPBE, COUNCIL <br />Ir?-? ? • <br />?,?'? ? • <br />O <br />DE IMPERT, PRESID NT OF COUNCIL <br /> <br />_ _ ?
