PETRIGAC <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING AND ADOPTING AN <br />OFFICIAL CITY SEAL FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED. <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted presently lacks an official <br />City Seal, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council and Administration designated the <br />Landmarks Commission as the body responsible for recommending to the <br />City Council and the Administration an official city seal, and <br />WHEREAS, the Landmarks Commission has diligently pursued said <br />effort and has presented to the City its recommendation for an official <br />city seal, and <br />WHEREAS, this Council is desirous of following the recommendation <br />of the Landmarks Commission: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: This Council does hereby designates and adopts as the <br />official city seal the proposal recommended by the Landmarks Commission which <br />seal is presently on file in the office of the Mayor. <br />SECTION 2: This Council directs that the seal specified in Section <br />1 hereof be designated the official city seal and be used in official city <br />business where deemed appropriate. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force <br />from and after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: / <br />Attest: <br />NORA T.
