A**?, <br />_1-ow <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 78-jfl <br />BY: Mr. Wilamosky <br />? <br />? <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR VARIOUS EQUIPMENT <br />TO BE USED IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND AUTHORIZING <br />THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAP1E, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Service Department of the City of North Olmsted requires the <br />following equipment to be used for maintaining public grounds: <br />1- 1 2 Ton Cab and Chassis Only <br />1- Farm Tractor and Side Cutter (M-2600) <br />1 - Hammer Knife Mower <br />5- Push Hand Mowers - 21 Inch Cut <br />2- Riding Mowers - 48 Inch Cut <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this <br />Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Pi <br />authorized to advertise for bids for the <br />Council to authorize the Director of <br />the aforesaid equipment. <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />ablic Service be and he is hereby <br />following equipment: <br />1- 1 2 Ton Cab and Chassis Only <br />1- Farm Tractor and Side Cutter (M-2600) <br />1 - Hammer Knife Mower <br />5- Push Hand Mowers - 21 Inch Cut <br />2- Riding Mowers - 48 Inch Cut <br />all to be in accordance with specifications now on file in his office. <br />SECTION 2: That upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is <br />authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of <br />North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 3: That this,Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare and for the further reason that the aforesaid equipment is needed <br />for summer maintenance of the public grounds, and further provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />/'???
