<br />"'4.. <br />? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 78-AL <br />BY: <br />?. <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION <br />TO BE PAID TO THE FULL-TIME CLERK OF COUNCIL, <br />AND ESTABLISHING THE POSITION OF SECRETARY <br />TO THE CLERK OF COUNCIL AND THE COMPENSATION <br />TO BE PAID THEREFOR, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE <br />77-110 ENACTED JULY 5, 1977, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the position of the Clerk of Council for the <br />Council of the City of North Olmsted is hereby declared to be a full- <br />time position and retroactive to January 1, 1978, the compensation <br />to be paid to said Clerk of Council shall be as follows: <br />$6,000.00 to $13,000.00 Annually <br />to be established by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, which <br />salary shall be payable by the Director of Finance bi-weekly. <br />SECTION 2: That the salary for the Clerk of Council shall be <br />for the services performed by said Clerk, under the Charter of the <br />City, and for those services as shall from time to time be determined <br />to be necessary to be performed and which shall be determined by <br />Council, including duties reauired by Charter, by the Ohio Revised <br />Code, the ordinances of the City of North Olmsted as well as the <br />Rules of Council. <br />SECTION 3: That there is hereby established the position of <br />Secretary to the Clerk of Council, which position shall be a full- <br />time position. The compensation for the position of Secretary to <br />the Clerk of Council shall be as follows: <br />$5,500.00 to $7,200.00 Annually <br />$ 2.64 to $ 3.46 Per Hour <br />to be established by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, which <br />salary shall be payable by the Director of Finance bi-weekly. <br />SECTION 4: That the Clerk of <br />Clerk o Council shall receive as a <br />of Twenty-Five Dollars ($25.00) for <br />and Secretary have been continually <br />Olmsted. This sum is to be paid in <br />date of employment. <br />Council and the Secretary to the <br />longevity increment, the sum <br />each and every year said Clerk <br />employed by the City of North <br />a lump sum on the anniversary <br />SECTION 5: That the full-time Clerk of Council and Secretary <br />to the Cler o Council of the City of North Olmsted shall receive <br />the following holidays off unless rec{uired to work by Council in <br />emergencies: New Year's Day; Memorial Day; Independance Day; Labor <br />Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; President's Day; the employee's <br />birthday, and floating holiday. <br />SECTION 6: (A) That the £u11-time Clerk of Council shall be <br />entitled to an annual vacation to coincide with Council's vacation. <br />(B) That the Secretary to the Clerk of Council shall be entitled to <br />an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule:
