SARINGER <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHA.PTER 521 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES <br />OF THE CITY OF NOR"I'H OLMSTED ENTITLED "HEAI,TH, SAFETY, AND <br />SANITATIQN" BY ADDING THERETO A NEW SECTION 521.10 ENTITLED <br />"DEPOSIT OF SNOW, ICE, OR SLUSH", AS AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, this Council has been advised that on a number of <br />occasions during periods of frec{uent and heavy snow the property owners <br />have removed snow from their property by plowing the same across the right <br />of way onto the adjacent tree lawns, <br />WHEREAS, this Council deems such conduct to be a serious safety <br />hazard and it is the desire of this Council to prohibit such action, <br />NOW, TfIEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TI-IE COUNCIL OF TFE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That there is hereby established a new Section 521.10 <br />entitled "Deposit a Snowa Ice, and Slush" wh.ich is part of Chapter 521 of <br />the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled "Health, Safety, <br />and Sanitation", which newly created Section should read as follows: <br />Section 521.10 - Depos.it of Snow, Ice, and Slush <br />(a) No person being the owner or tenant of real propexty which <br />either directly or through an employee, agent, or contractor, <br />shall deposit snow, ice, or slush, upon any property other <br />than that property from which the snow, ice, or slush has <br />been moved. In no case shall such snow, ice, or slush be <br />deposited upon City streets. <br />(b) Anyone who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor <br />in the third degree. <br />SECTION 2: That any other ordinance or parts of ordinances in <br />conflict herewit are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force <br />from and a ter t e earliest period allowed by law. <br />-? <br />PASSED : <br />ATTEST: <br />s <br />. . . . ?//,?, ? ?i . . . . . . . . ? <br />Nora T.
