NEUBAUER RESOLUTION AU`T'HORIZING ACCE~~TCE <br />OF BID FOR LABDR AND MATERIAL FOR <br />ETON ROAD WATI~R MAIN N0. 2 <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Service of the City of North Olmsted <br />advertised for proposals for the furnishing of labor and material for the <br />construction of a water main on Barton Road from Lorain Road to a point 1400 <br />feet northerly, and <br />WHEREAS, P. DiGioia submitted the lowest and best proposal for fur- <br />Wishing said labor and material, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Control of the City of North Oersted has approved <br />entering into a contract with said bidder for furnishing said labor and material. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY 'i~E COUNCIL OF ~E CITY OF NOR'I~ <br />OLMSTED, OHIO, TEAT: <br />The Director of Public Service be and is hereby authorized to accept <br />the proposal of P. DiGioia to furnish labor and material for the improvement <br />of Barton Road from Lorain Road to a point 1400 feet northerly, by constructir.~g <br />therein a water main, the same being the best and lowest proposal submitted for <br />$12,845.00; and said Director be and is hereby authorized to enter into and <br />sign a contract in accordance with the advertisement, the proposal and the plans <br />and specifications on file with the City Engineer. <br />This is an emergency measure necessary for the public health, peace <br />and safety, and to immediately provide for a contract for the above improvement. <br />PASSID: October 6, 1953 <br />ATTEST: <br />.
