RESOLUTION N0. ~ ~ 3 <br />BY; j~~j RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AVID DIRECTING <br />THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />EiJTER INTO A CONTRACT FQR THE PURCHASE <br />OF FUEL OIL FOR DIESEL ENGINES OWNED <br />AND OPERATED BY THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED . <br />Whereas, the Director of Public Service of the City of North <br />Olmsted has duly advertised for proposals for furnishing fuel oil for <br />Diesel engines in mobile equipment owned and operated by the City of <br />North Olmsted, and <br />Whereas, the Standard Oil Company has submitted the lowest and <br />best proposal for the furnishing of such fuel oil for the purpose abnve <br />stated. <br />NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL 0~' THE CITY OF NORTH <br />Oi,MSTED , STATE OF OHIO , THAT <br />The proposal of the Standard Oil Company to furnish fuel oil for <br />all equipment of the City having Diesel engines for a two year period, <br />beginning upon the passage of this resolution, be accepted. <br />The Director of Public Service is hereby authorized and directed <br />to enter into a contract with the Standard Oil Company for the purchase of <br />said fuel oil in accordance with the advertisement for proposals, the <br />proposal and the specifications on file, all of which shall b e made a part <br />of the contract as if fully rewritten therein. <br />This is an emergency measure necessary for the public health, peace <br />and safety and to immediately provide for the purchase of necessary ma- <br />terial for City equipment. <br />PASSED: July 1, 1952 <br />ATTEST: _ <br />hristma , le _ uncil <br />APP VE <br />~ larence viat ,Mayor <br />. ,. .. <br />..-..,r., , ,rx.,.~~... _ 1 <br />
