RESOLUTION N0. °~ a ~ 6 <br />BY: Mr. RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR <br />LABOR AND MATERIAL FOR ROOT ROAD <br />MATER MAIN. <br />WHEREAS, this Ccuncil duly advertised for proposals for <br />the furnishing of labor and material for the improvement of Root <br />Road from the end of existing main to a point 1203 feet northerly, <br />by constructing therein a water main, and <br />WHEREAS, McSteen and Brooks Gonstruction Company, submitted <br />the lowest and best proposal for furnishing said labor and material. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NOKTH OLMSTED, OHIO, THAT: <br />The Director of Public Serv~.ce be and is hereby authorized <br />to accept the proposal of McSteen and Brooks Construction Company to <br />furnish labor and material for the improvement of Root Road from the <br />end of existing main to a point 1203 feet northerly, by constructing <br />therein a water main, the same being the best and lowest proposel <br />submitted for X7,$$2.00; and said Director be ~:~nd is hereby authorized <br />to enter into and sign a contract in accordance with the advertise- <br />ment, the pro~oosal and the plans and specifications on file with the <br />City Engineer. <br />This is an emergency measure necessary for the public <br />health, peace and safety, and to immediately provide for a contract <br />for the above improvement. <br />PASSED: September 7, 1954. <br />ATTEST; <br />Ruth Klee, Deputy Clerk of Council E.
