ORDINANCE N0. ,~ ~ ~ BY: Mr, ~~~~~~ AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CANCELLATION OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ON PERMANENT PARCEL N0. 231-27-13 ON GESSNER ROAD, NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO. WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Auditor of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuya- hoga County, for the improvement of Gessner Road, in the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, by constructing therein a water main (No. 1), and WHEREAS, Edward J, Kraig and Betty J. Kraig have paid said assessments, together with interest thereon, on Permanent Parcel No. 231-27-13 on the Auditors records of Cuyahoga County Ohio, (W. part 1927,13 feet NE corner 1E30 feet deep-Gessner Road North Olmsted, Ohio. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINEI) BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, STATE OF OHIO: That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and is hereby authorized and directed to cancel all future assessments, beginning with the assessments for the year 1954 and continuing through 1961, certified and levied on Permanent Parcel No. 231-2?-13 on the Auditorts records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, for the improvement of Gessner Road, by constructing therein a water main (No.l). That the annual assessments for said improvement including interest at the rate of 2-3/4~ on said premises amounted to the sum: of 292.?2. That the Treasurer of the City of North Olmsted, is hereby authorized and directed to receive payment in fully with interest on such assessments beginning with the gear 1954 and continuing through 1959. That the Clerk is ordered to certify a copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. This is an emergency measure necessary for the public health, peace and saFety and to provide immediately for the cancellation of special assessments which have been paid in full.
