RESOI.~TTION AUTHORISING A~iD DIRBCTI~iG THE <br />DIREC2OR OF PUBLIC S~tQICE TO 8~1T8R INTO <br />A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF OIL FOR <br />USE IH' THE I~)BILE EQUI tTBD AHD <br />OPERATED BY THE CITY OF ~iOH?H ~L~ISTSD. <br />Whereas, the Director of Public Service of the City of <br />North Olmsted has drily advertised for proposals for furnishing <br />lubricating oil for use in the mobile equipment owned and operated <br />by the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, and <br />Whereas, the Pennsylvania Refining Company has submitted <br />the lowest and beat proposal for furnishing such lubricating oil <br />for the purposes above stated, to wit: <br />Colonel Drake Heavy Duty Motor Oil, <br />Nos. 10 to 4O, in Drmts or Buik - <br />.48~ cents per gallon. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVER BY TEE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, STATE OF OHIO, THAT: <br />The proposal of the Pennsylvania Refining Company to <br />furnish lubricating oil for said mobile equipment of the City fmr <br />a period of two years begiening upon the passage of this resolution, <br />be accepted. <br />The Director of Public Service fa hereby authorized and <br />directed to enter into a contract with the Pennsylvania Refining <br />Company for the purchase of said lubricating oil fa accordance with <br />the advertisement for proposals, the proposal and the specifications <br />on file, all of which shall be made a part of the contract as if fullp <br />rewritten therein. <br />This is an emergency measure necessary far the public health, <br />peace and safety and to immediately provide for the purchase of neces- <br />sary material for city equipment. <br />PASSED: Mag 1$, 1954. <br />ATTEST:- f'r <br />~:._ <br />. ristman, "~r o ounc <br />APPROVED: <br />,.~ ~" . <br />C ar ea xis, <br />
