<br />t, ORDINANCE NO . ~ ~ 9 <br />BY ; ~~`~ ~y,~~.GCo-w' AN URDINANCE PROHIBITIN G <br />REMOVAL OF SOIL . <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CUU NCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, UHIU, That: <br />Section 1. No person, firm or corporation owning, <br />renting, leasing or having possession of any lots or lands in the <br />City of North Olmsted, Chio, shall remove, cause to be removed or <br />permit to be removed, from such lots or lands except as hereinafter <br />provided, any soil, earth or dirt without having first obtained a <br />permit from the building commissioner to do so . <br />Section 2. No permit shall be issued for the removal <br />of soil, earth or dirt from any lots or lands, the removal of which <br />soil, earth or dirt shall cause said lots or lands to be below <br />the level of the street or highway on which said lots or lands abut <br />or below the level of adjoining property which abounds said lots <br />or lands . <br />Section 3. A permit for the removal of surplus soil, <br />earth or dirt where a permit has been taken out for the construction <br />of a bu ilding upon any lots or lands and actually used shall be <br />issued by the building commissioner. <br />Section 4. Any violation of this Ordinance shall be <br />punishable by fine not exceeding forty-five dollars (45.60) and <br />costs and each day's violation shall be deemed a separate offense <br />and punished accordingly. <br />Section 5.
