<br />CITY OF Na.7RTH LISTED <br />ORDINANCE No. 63 ~° -~ I r <br /> <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENI~TNG PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 6 <br />OF ARTICLE III OF ORDINANCE No. 2445 RELATING TO <br />THE SPECIFICATIONS FOR CONCRETE PAVEMENTS IN THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED AND REPEALING PARAGRAPH (b) <br />OF SECTION 6 OF ARTICLE III OF ORDINANCE No. 2445, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That Paragraph (b) of Section 6 of Article <br />III of Ordinance No. 2445 enacted March 19, 1957, presently <br />reading as follows; <br />"<b) Street or streets shall be paved with reinforced <br />concrete pavement of hot plant mixed asphaltic concrete <br />pavement on a reinforced concrete base, with concrete <br />curbs and curb drains. Pavement to have a minimum width <br />of twenty-four (24) feet between. curbs. Concrete pave- <br />ment or concrete base shall have a thickness of seven (7) <br />inches of reinforced concrete. Hot plant mixed asphaltic <br />concrete when used shall have a minimum thickness of two <br />(2) inches." <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"(b) All streets in the City of North vlrnsted shall <br />be paved with reinforced concrete pavement, concrete <br />curbs and concrete curb drains. All pavement shall <br />have a minimum width of twenty-four (24) feet between <br />curbs and shall be constructed with tT-71 Class D' <br />concrete with a minimum of six and one-half (6-1/2) <br />sacks of concrete per cubic yard and a minimum com- <br />pressive strength of three thousand five hundred <br />(3,500) pounds tier square inch, reinforced with mesh <br />at the rate of fifty-eight (58) pounds per one hundred <br />(100) square feet and shall. meet the requirements of <br />the State of Ohio, Department of Highways. Construc- <br />tion and material specifications and the requirements <br />of the City of North ©lmsted are as set forth on a <br />paving detail sheet prepared by the City Engineer, a <br />copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof." <br />Section 2: That Paragraph (b) of Section 6 of Article <br />ITI of Ordinance No. 2445 enacted March 19, 1957 and all other <br />ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith or con- <br />trary hereto be and the same are hereby repealed. <br />Section 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared <br />to be an emergency measure necesCary for the public peace, safety <br />~ -,, <br />
