CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. ,~-~S~ <br />BY- <br />AN ORDI NCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CANCELLATION <br />OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ON PERMANENT PARCEL N0. 23~-23-26 <br />BEING AN ASSESSMENT FOR PREPARATION OF PLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS FOR SANITARY SEWERS, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Finance <br />Director of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County <br />for. the preparation of plans and specifications for sanitary sewers, <br />WHEREAS, Robert S. Hawken ~ Marilyn J Hawken of 2X094 Frank St. <br />have paid the sum of ~ 62.22 in payment of said special assessments, in <br />advance, for the tax years Ig 63 through 1979, inclusive, together with <br />accrued interest levied thereon against Permanent Parcel No 237-23-26 <br />in the City of North Olmsted. ' <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section l: That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to cancel for the years 19 63 through 1979, inclusive, <br />assessments in full for preparation of plans and specifications for sanitary <br />sewers. <br />Section 2: That the Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted <br />is hereby authorized and directed to receive payment in advance on such assessments <br />for the period 19 63 through 1979, inclusive, amounting to $ 62.22 on <br />said parcel. <br />Section 3: That the Clerk of the Council is hereby directed to forward an <br />attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, State of Ohio. <br />Section 4: Wherefore, this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health <br />and welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue of <br />the necessity of cancelling the special assessments on Permanent Parcel No 237-23-2t; <br />for preparation of plans and specifications for sanitary sewers. <br />Section 5: Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately from <br />and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASS ED: /~ / 96~ <br />ATTEST: <br />., <br />.. <br />Louise Hall, Clerk of Council <br />APPROVED: <br />Paul J. r a Mayor <br />j` <br />'~""~'-~ <br />"-J. <br />'ii~j President Counci 1 //hd~~ <br />~ 7,~3 <br />l~~ ~ <br />(~ ~~~ <br />
