CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. ~3~~~ <br />BY- <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CANCELLATION <br />OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ON PERMANENT PARCEL N0. 236-23-13 <br />BEING AN ASSESSMENT FOR PREPARATION OF PLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS FOR SANITARY SEWERS, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Finance <br />Director of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County <br />for the preparation of plans and specifications for sanitary sewers, <br />WHEREAS, William N. Ruby Jr of 25563 Butternut Ridge <br />have paid the sum of ~ $5.68 in payment of said special assessments, in <br />advance, for the tax years 19 63 through 1979, inclusive, together with <br />accrued interest levied thereon against Permanent,Parcel No 236-23-13 , <br />in the City of North Olmsted, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to cancel for the years 19 63 through 1979, inclusive, <br />assessments in full for preparation of plans and specifications for sanitary <br />sewers. <br />Section 2: That the Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted <br />is hereby authorized and directed to receive payment in advance on such assessments <br />for the period 19 through 1979, inclusive, amounting to $ 85.68 on <br />said parcel. <br />Section 3: That the Clerk of the Council is hereby directed to forward an <br />attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, State of Ohio. <br />Section 4: Wherefore, this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health <br />and welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue of <br />the necessity of cancelling the special assessments on Permanent Parcel No 236-23-13, <br />for preparation of plans and specifications for sanitary sewers. <br />Section 5: Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately from <br />and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASS ED• ,6 ~ <br />ATTEST: <br />_. <br />,~ ~ ~, 1,,.-~ <br />' Louise Hall, Clerk of Council <br />/ ,~ -~- <br />Pres ident f Counc i 1 ~~Pa ~Eiri <br />APPROVED: <br />l <br />aul J.
