~' c~;7~ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE No. 63 --~.3 <br />y <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIJN 1 OF RESOLUTION No. 3101 <br />RELATING TO SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT OPERATORS ANt) THE <br />COMPENSATION THEREFJR, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, <br />State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That Section 1 of Resolution No. 3101, adopted <br />September 6, 1960, presently reading as follows: <br />"Section 1: That Council does hereby create the <br />position of a sewage treatment plant operator and directs <br />that only operators licensed by the State of Ohio as licensed <br />sewage treatment plant operators be employed, and do hereby <br />create the classification for employment of said operators <br />based upon the license held by said operator and fix the <br />compensation for each class: <br />Class A Operator $7,000.00 - $8,000.00 per year <br />Class B Operator $6,000.00 - $7,000.00 per year <br />Class C Operator $4,500.00 - $5,500.00 per year" <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"Section 1: That Council does hereby create the <br />position of a sewage treatment plant operator and directs <br />that only operators licensed by the State of Ohio as licensed <br />sewage treatment plant operators be employed, and do hereby <br />create the classification for employment of said operators <br />based upon the license held by said operator and fix the <br />compensation for each class: <br />Class A Operator $7,000.00 - $8,000.00 per year <br />Class B Operator $6,000.00 - $7,000.00 per year <br />Class C Operator $5,000.00 - $6,000.00 per year <br />Section 2: That Section 1 of Resolution No. 3101, adopted <br />September 6, 1960, is hereby repealed. <br />Section 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public <br />peace, health, safety and general welfare of the City of North Olmsted, <br />and such emergency exists by virtue of the necessity of adequately com- <br />pensating employees of a regular department of the City which is essen- <br />tial to the health of its inhabita~.tss WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage, otherwise, <br />at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />-7 <br />PASSED: ~;~~ i f~ ,~~,~ Y~ <br />Bruce Mac onald, President <br />of Council <br />ATTES . <br />;. <br />ousse Hall, Clerk o Council <br />AP~D: ;,, <br />ti .. ~ T` <br />Paul J. reau, Mayor ~_---~~..~`~.- <br />i <br />
