1 ~~ ~ Lc_ C. c~ t. e~ ..:~;~, <br />J ~~ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 64- ,~1 <br /> <br />BY l <br />O Al~'CE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 62-06, ENACTED <br />JANUARY 2, 1962, ENTLED "ORDINANCE PROVII~NG FOR <br />PART-TIME SECRETARY FOR AND TO ASSIST THE LAW I~RECTCR <br />FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND PROVIDING COMPEN_-. <br />SATION THEREFOR SO AS TO PREWIDE A PART-TIME SRCRETARY <br />FOR THE DIRECTOR OF LAW FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED:' <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, <br />State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That the Director of Law be authorized to employ <br />a part-time secretary to assist in the taping of correspondence required by <br />said office, and in the preparation of legislation. that the compensation of the <br />part-time secretary assisting the Director of Law shall be, commencing January <br />1, 1962, at the rate of One Hundred Eighty-Seven Dollars and Fifty Cents <br />($187..50) per month from and after said date. <br />Section 2: That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 62-0~, enacted <br />January 2, 1962, reading as follows: <br />"Section 2: That the Director of Finance be authorized <br />and directed to pay the part-time secretary employed bythe <br />Director of Law the sum of One Hundred Eighty-Seven <br />Dollars and Fifty Cents ($187.50) per month commencing <br />January 1, 1962, and each month thereafter the sum of One <br />Hundred Eight-seven Dollars and Fifty Cents ($187.50) <br />per month. " <br /> <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Section 2: That the Director of Finance be authorized and <br />directed to pay the Director of Law the sum of One Hundred Eighty-Seven <br />Dollars and Fifty Cents ($187.50) per month commencing March 15, 1964 <br />and each month thereafter the sum of One Hundred Eighty-Seven Dollars and <br />Fifty Cents ($187.50) per month for secretarial and office expenses. <br />Section 3: That Ordinance No. 62-06 is hereby repealed <br />concurrently with the effective date of the changes herein made. <br />Section 4: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the general welfare of the City of North <br />Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue of the necessity of adjusting <br />the salary of the part-time secretary assisting~he Director of Law. <br />Section fi: WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take immediate <br />effect from and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest eriod allowed by law. <br />PASSED: _ f ~ ~~ ~,~ ~ ~ ~~~ <br />TEST• Francis J.
