~ , <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 65 - ~ f' <br />Pr w ~- <br />A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE AVAILABILITY OF $8, 167.00 <br />WHICH REPRESENTS NORTH OLMSTED'S SHARE OF FUNDS <br />ALLOCATED FOR TI3E COST OF A COMPREHENSIVE <br />COMMUNITY PLAN, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, Council by Resolution No. 65-262 has authorized the <br />Mayor to apply to the Ohio Development Department of the State of Ohio for <br />a 701 Community Assistance Program Grant from the Housing & Homes <br />Finance Agency of the United States Government; and <br />WHEREAS, Council has authorized the Mayor, if the City of North <br />Olmsted receives a 701 Community Assistance Program Grant, to employ <br />the Cuyahoga County Regional Planning Commission to develop a <br />Comprehensive Community plan for the City of North Olmsted; and <br />W?-IEREAS, Council has been advised that the City's share of <br />the cost of preparing said plan will total $8, 1 ~7. Q0; and <br />WHEREAS, Council is of the opinion that it would be to the beast <br />interests of the City of North Olmsted to proceed with the preparation of <br />the Comprehensive Community Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted , State of. Ohio: <br />Section l: That the sum of $8, 167, 00 be specifically committed <br />for the City of North Olmsted's share of the cost of preparing a Comprehensive <br />Planning Program. <br />Section 2: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to <br />forward a copy of this Resolution to the Finance Director of the City of <br />North Olmsted. <br />Section 3: That this Resolution is hereby determined to Le an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public welfare, <br />safety, and health of the City by virtue of the necessity of continuing to <br />prcamote the orderly development of land within the City of North Olmsted. <br />WHEREFORE, this Resolution shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: ____,~ ~~ ~,_ <br />ATTEST: <br />Margaret T, West, Clerk of Council <br />APPROVED: <br /> <br />Francis ].
