AN ORI7~NANCE ADDING TO CODIFIED ORL~NANCE NO. 30501 ENTITLED "TRAFFIC CONTROL MAP" AND CODIFIED ORDINANCE NO. 305.02 ENTITLED "TRAFFIC CONTROL FILE" MAKING A RIGHT TURN MANDATORY AT THE MOST WESTERLY ENTRANCE TO THE GREAT NORTHERN SHOPPING CENTER FOR VEHICLES APPROACHING THE SHOPPING CENTER IN THE CURB LANE IN AN EASTERLY DIRECTION ON LORAIN ROAD, AND DECLARING '1N EMERGENCY A WHEREAS, Council has been advised by the Safety Commmittee of Council and the Safety-Service Director that traffic travelling East on Lorain Road has created a traffic oon~ection problem at the most Westerly entrance to Great Northern Shopping Center; and W'riEREAS, Council wishes to alleviate a traffic confection preablk~m. and in addition wishes to make the most Westerly entrance into Great Northern.. Shopping Center on Lorain Road less hazardous intersection; and WHEREAS, a traffic survey indicates that the curb lane traffic: travelling East on Lorain Road should be required to make a right t~,~rn iz~.tc:f Great Northern Shopping Center. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Cit.P ,~k Iv'orth Olmsted, State of Ohio: Section l: That the `*Traffic Cantrol Map" Title 1 Chapter 39 Section 305.01 shall set forth that the traffic travelling East on Lorain Road in the curb lane must make a right turn at the most Westerly entrance tc the Great Northern Shopping Center. Section 2: That the "Traffic Control File" Title 1 Chapter 30 Sectian 305.02 set forth to record the mandatory right turn at the must Westerly entrance of the Great Northern Shopping Center for traffic travelling East on Lorain Road ir- the curb lane . Section 3: That whoever violates this Ordinance shall be fined the penalties as set forth in Title 1 Chapter 303 Section 303.59 entitled °'Penalties" as set forth in the Codified Ordinances of the City of North. Olmsted. Section 4: That a certified copy of this Ordinance be delivered. to . the Police Department of the City of North Olmsted by the Clerk of Council of the City of North Olmsted.
