CITY OF NORTH OLIrISTED ORDINANCE NO. 65 - ~~ .! • BY AN ORDINANCE CORRECTING AND A~iENDII3G SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO, b5-83 ENACTED APRIL b, 1965, WHICH. AMENDED ORDINANCE NO. 64-96 INCORPORATED IN THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES PARTICULARLY TITLE 5, CHAPTER 163, SECTION 163.04 ENTITLED "INSURANCE s ON EMPLOYEES OF THE MUNICIPAL BU3 LINES, " AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, Council having been advised by the Finance Committee and the Transportation Committee that they recommend that the Municipal Hus Line contribute toward the cost of Blue Cross Hospitalization fox all full-time employees of the Municipal Bus Line, and WHEREAS, in order to maintain an efficient Municipal Bus Line Council has determined that the recommendation by the Transportation Committee and Finance Committee shall be granted, and WHEREAS, it wa• Counci;'s intention that the increased hoepital- ization benefits should also include medical treatment coverage, and WHEREAS, when Ordinance No. 65-83 was passed by Council, it did not set forth that Medical Mutual was to be included in the increased benefits to the full-time employees of the Municipal Bus Line, and WHEREAS, Council now wishes to correct a previous typr~raphical error and also wishes to make all benefits to include Medical Mutual ssd H ue Cross Hospitalization, and to be retroactive to May 1, 1965. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: Section 1: That Title 5, Chapter 163, Section 163.04 presently reading as follows: "Section 1: Title 5, Chapter 163, Section 1b3.04 INSURANCE ON EMPLOYEES OF THE MUNICIPAL BU5 LIMES. The Municipal Bus Line shall furnish, at no cost to the employee, each regular full-time employee Accident and F~Iealth Insurance which insurance shall pay the employee. in the ewent he is unable to work as a result of an accident or ill health the sum of Forty Dollars ($40.00) pier week. Said insurance shsll als+a have accidental death and death benefits with the principal sum of Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1500.00) .
