1 <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0, 65-62 <br />By: Mr. Leonard <br />A RESOLUTION NOTIFYING THE DIRECTOR, DEPARTMENT OF <br />LIQUOR CONTROL, STATE OF OHIO, DONALD D, COOK, OF <br />THE OBJECTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY' OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, OHIO TO APPLICATION ~# I 26190 IN THl_ NAME <br />OF WILLIAM THOMAS MACK, AND DECLAkING AN EMERGENCY <br />• <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 4303.261 of the Kevised Code <br />of Ohio the North Olmsted Legislative Authority was not. ified of <br />application # 126190 for a C-2 permit in the name of William <br />Thomas Mack, 26540 Lorain koad, North Olmsted, Ohio, and <br />WHEREAS, Section 4303.261 of the Revised Code of Ohio pro- <br />vides for the Legislative Authority to object to the issuance of an <br />application for a liquor permit within thirty days of the date of the <br />not if ica t i on of such appl i.cation . <br />Section 1: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council <br />of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, does hereby exercise its right <br />to object to the issuance of a C-2 permit applied fog under alplica- <br />tion ~ I 26190 by William Thomas Mack. 26540 Lorain Road, North <br />Olmsted, Ohio, and does direct the Clerk of Council 'o send by cer- <br />t if ied mail <br />(1) Two certified copies of this Resolution of <br />objection, and <br />(2) Two signed statements in writing, listing the reasons <br />for the obiections, <br />and prays that the Department of Liquor Control set a time and date <br />for a member of this Council to be heard on this matter. <br />Section 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary far the preservation of the public welfare <br />and that such emergency exists by virtue of the fact that the Revised <br />Cade of Ohio provides for the Legislative Authority to object to the <br />issuance of an application WHEREFORE, this Resolution shall take effect <br />immediately upon its passage, ~thc~rwise, at the earliest period allowed <br />by law. <br />PASSED March 2, 1965 <br />~n ,~ <br />F~is J, O'Neill, Pres dent of Council <br />ATT H5T <br />+~ <br />Margaret T. eW st, Clerk of Council <br />APPROVED: <br />~ / ~ //Tt ~ ~ ~ t f~~ <br />.~ t <br />Ralph E Christman, Mayor <br />i <br /> <br />1~ `~ <br />
